Operator Screen

See what a difference an eight line x 20 characters per line screen makes. Just look at the screen to verify or fill the order. If necessary, you can page up and down through larger orders. On-screen prompting simplifies operations and programming of menu items and system options. Spot check sales and financial reports by viewing sales information on the screen.

Flat, Spill Resistant Keyboard

The 98 key keyboard is spill resistant and easy to clean. Each location is completely programmable to fit your menu and function requirements. Program your menu items easily by typing on a transparent alpha keyboard overlay.

Thermal Printer

Using the latest quiet thermal printing technology, messy ink and illegible printing are eliminated.

Every customer receipt and end-of day report is printed exceptionally clear and extremely fast at 9.3 lines per second.

 

Communications Ready

Two RS-232C ports and IRC are available on every Samsung ER-650! Using IRC (inter register communications), up to 8 registers can be connected for consolidating store wide reports and/or programming. Each RS232C port can be connected to one of the following options:

  • Phone Modem or PC
  • Scanner
  • Scale
  • Remote Printer or Requisition Video
  • Coin Changer
  • Remote Pole Display

Optional communications software, SAM650, can be used to upload or download register data directly from a PC, or via a phone modem. Daily transaction details, as well as sales and financial reports can be uploaded to your PC for storage and/or further review.

Electronic Journal

The ER-650 stores your detailed sales journal in memory for printing at the end of the day, Electronic journal can be printed in its entirety or select from ten different print option selections. This allows sales with voids, discounts, refunds, no-sales or for specific employees to be printed when needed.
